This is entirely up to you and your experience.. Tipping and any additional expenses are completely optional, but there are no extra costs if you choose not to pay for anything extra. The hotel provides you with your before- and after-care liquid diet. If you want, you can bring extra vitamin water, Gatorade, etc.
Your all-inclusive package covers all that you need. However, if you require additional medication due to your health condition, you will incur an additional fee (averaging $50). There is also a possibility that the surgeon may detect a hernia that requires repair during the surgery.
MBC offers special Medical Tourism Insurance (MTI) at a significantly reduced cost. It is better to have it and not use it than to need it and not have it!
