Will I have a chance to visit a pharmacy in Mexico during my stay?
After surgery, the surgeon will prescribe medications which you will pick up at the pharmacy on the way back to the airport.
Do we have to pay for those meda or are they included?
Each surgery has specific medications that are included in the package but if you need any additional medications, there is an extra charge. If you need extra medication to go home with, you will purchase them at the pharmacy down in Mexico, and, the prices of the medications are much cheaper in Mexico than they would be in the states.

Does it cost extra for my husband to come with me. He is not getting services.
Hi Brandy, there is an additional fee for any companions you bring to Mexico. The fee covers their hotel stay while you are in the hospital. Due to COVID-19, companions are not allowed to stay in the hospital. However, we currently do have hospital visiting hours so that companions can visit patients at the hospital.
The fee the companion pays. What does that cover? Does it cover their hotel stay?
Yes, it covers their hotel stay as well as transportation with you to/from San Diego airport.
If I’m the companion for my 18 year old son, am I able to be with him to help him navigate this procedure and stay with him while he’s in the hospital?

Will you provide transportation for my mom to come see me during visiting hours from the motel? Is there a place for my mom to eat? I am worried about her not having transportation to come see me at the hospital.
Hi Amy, there certainly will be transportation for your mom. There are many places to eat and go for your mom and activities your companion can do to stay busy. There are many amazing restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. They can also visit nearby attractions like casinos, parks, shopping centers, and beaches. Remember that your companion will be in charge of arranging their own transportation, which can be easily done through Uber (affordable and popular in Tijuana), the free Hotel Shuttle, Taxi, or with our drivers if possible.
How long are the visiting hours? My mom will be my traveling companion and I want to see her.
Due to COVID-19 protocols, our visiting hours are currently 6-7 pm.
What are visitation hours for companions?
It is usually in the afternoon.
Do you guys intend on changing the COVID policies anytime soon?

Hi Angie, With recovery, it is based on your job type. If your job is more sitting: 1 to 2 weeks. Standing/Walking: 2 weeks. Fast-Paced: 2 to 4 weeks. Lifting: 4 to 8+ weeks.
