In Paul’s words, Mexico Bariatric Center sets you up for success beyond what you find in the United States
To the right, is a gastric sleeve before and after photo of Paul, who underwent gastric sleeve surgery on January 5th of 2016. At his side, CEO and founder of Mexico Bariatric Center,
Ron Elli, Ph.D. who has proudly stood by Paul time and throughout his progress.
Before Undergoing Gastric Sleeve Surgery
Starting Weight: 340 lbs
Weight as of October 15th, 2016: 216 lbs
Having worked as a truck driver for many years, Paul struggled to lose weight. But that all changed when he was told by a friend and doctor that there is another option. He was pointed to Mexico Bariatric Center and began to do his research.
“If you have been overweight for 20 plus years in your life, the chances of you seeing 50 are pretty bad”
These are the words that shook Paul and made him emotional. At 40 years old and with kids, he knew it was time to take action to ensure best he could be there for his family and live a better quality of life.
“Before in our houses…we only had mirrors (holds a hand to his chest) from here and above. As a heavy person, you don’t need to be reminded that you’re heavy.”
Winning Free Gastric Sleeve in Mexico
Paul was invited to a free seminar that we hosted in Oregon where he got to see former patients get up and share their stories just as he has done now. And at the seminar that Paul initially attended, he was given the fortune of being drawn as the winner of a free gastric sleeve surgery.
After Gastric Sleeve Surgery
Since undergoing his bariatric surgery in Tijuana, Mexico with our company, Paul has been spreading the word to those who are in the same place he was not too long ago. Paul was kind enough to invite us out to Portland, Oregon to host another one of our seminars and we kindly accepted. At this workshop, Paul brought along friends and gave a remarkable talk on his experience.
The video below is of his full testimonial that he shared at the seminar during which he nearly comes to tears. He offers a very real, genuine, and straightforward look into what it was like going in for surgery and how it’s been for him since.
“I’m happy to say now in my house…I have a full-length mirror. Sometimes I look in that mirror…and I don’t see what you guys see right now. Still psychological and I still gotta get through it.”
