This is the perfect meal anytime of the day for anyone who has had weight loss surgery and having a hard time feeling satisfied or you are just craving something sweet. This is a tasty recipe that provides you the perfect balance of nutrition and leaving you feeling completely satisfied for hours.
Chia seeds are an excellent source of your essential fatty acids, fiber, protein, calcium and so much more. Fair life Milk is a hormone free milk where the lactose; sugar from milk has been removed. The milk also has double the protein as regular milk and a digestive enzyme has been added, so it is perfect for anyone who has had bariatric surgery.
First, you need to blend a quarter cup raspberries with a quarter cup milk and one tablespoon of chia seeds. Then place is glass.
Then you blend the rest of the milk (half cup), an eighth of a cup chia, one tablespoon vanilla, and one tablespoon no sugar added almond butter. You want an almond butter that has one gram of sugar or less.
Once blended, pour into glass. Refrigerate for one to two hours before serving.
This recipe is high protein and low carbohydrates. If you are someone who just needs a little something throughout the day, this is a perfect choice.
